Breaking Legs(2016) Dances With Films

Attempt at making an old school teen comedy ala MEATBALLS but about dancing. Here a young girl moves to a new town but has no place to dance except the dance team.

Billed as MEAN GIRLS meets FOOTLOOSE the film is a cute little diversion. I'm not entirely sure if the film is playing things seriously (but humorously) or if its all a tongue in cheek send up. The music is a nostalgic 1980's or 90's send up that seems to be little too pumped up. As I said it's a diversion, but one that I'm not certain will ever find its audience because it's such a throw back.
